STORMY DAYS with Akinrotimi Eniola

STORMY DAYS

When at last I sat down
My mind was set faraway from home
And my eyelid was full of frown
My ears discards the bird's whispering tone

I set my eyes up
Maybe anything could be found
My eyes found nothing below the top
Rather than the dropping of the black cloud

The black cloud made a drop on me
And my feelings turn gray
Sooner, the dry ground turns sea
And my feet slipped out of the way

Again, my head made a sight of the black sky
But the other parts stay still on the ground
All my heart could hear was a cry
Fullest to its boredom sound

Worry not, the sea will soon make a run
Seeing the ray of the sun
Worry not, the dark sky will become clear
Seeing the moon coming so near
